The Marseilles cap evokes Raimu and the world of Marcel Pagnol in the Bar de la Marine. A veritable institution in Marseille, it is also worn today in the south of France, made from 100% linen made in France.
A true queen of the pétanque court, its distinctive feature is that it's an eight-rib with a very wide bottom, so it won't fall over. Some add a rush inside to tighten it or leave the paper on to keep its shape.

Casquette élégante et de belle facture, un bon choix assurément. Toutefois, comme un autre client l'a exprimé, un plateau un peu plus large aurait été bienvenu. Traclet indique que certains rajoutent un jonc à l'intérieur pour bien la tendre ou laissent le papier afin de bien garder sa forme, c'est un excellent conseil. J'ai rajouté un jonc et un petit rembourrage tissu (c'est mieux que le papier...), la casquette a bien plus fière allure ! Bref, cette belle coiffure vous donnera satisfaction sans le moindre doute !
