Who is Jean Bulle?
Battalion Chief Jean Bulle was a French soldier and Resistance fighter who was born on September 8, 1913 in Pontarlier and died for France1 on August 20, 1944 near Albertville. Jean Bulle was shot down by the SS during the fighting to liberate the town of Albertville, and was posthumously promoted to battalion commander.
